THE LOVE DAY HISTORY:
Friday - named for the Norse Goddess of Beauty and Pleasure - is also named after the Goddess of Love in:
- Italy - France - Spain - and India. Friday is the beginning of shabbat. it is the time to invite in the sacred Feminine - the Shekhinah - in Judaism. Friday is also the day to celebrate the Goddess Oshun (Goddess of Pleasure, Love & Sensuality in the African Yoruba religion.)

Friday and its number 5, are reflective of the divine body, the sacred pentagram, the seeds in the apple of love, and the 5 fold kiss of love. Colors of love are white, red, pink, gold, and orange (in Africa.)

Venus's Day is a wonderful day for pleasure. Bring home some flowers. Have a delectable meal. Light candles. Put on some sensuous music. Make love! Make love whether to yourself or your beloved. Take the time to slow it down and luxuriate in the senses. As you feel your passions rise, focus on your 3rd eye or crown chakra. Breathe the energy of arousal up into your body. All the way up. Send it out to the universe as a prayer and a blessing for what your heart values. . . for yourself and all people.
