Dear Diva,
 
I’m over 45. I’m confused. Out of work. I can’t seem to connect with men when I’m out in social situations like bars. I feel like my life is going nowhere and it’s over half over. Something’s gotta change.
 
What’s wrong with me? What am I doing wrong?

Cara Seeker of the Divine Feminine,
 
I am very moved by your courageously vulnerable sharing. What you are describing is what happens when we lose our DIVINE FEMININE SOUL SOURCE.  When we lose that source, we are in pain and confused.
 
We seek and seek and seek for SOMEONE OUT THERE to fill us and prove that we are OK. Instead, the world mirrors back to us our worst fears:
 We  are not ok. Hopeless. Unwanted. Alone or treated poorly. Love beggars.
 
Remember the key:
The universe provides what goes on inside.
 
When we are filled with loss, self-criticism, pain and emptiness, we get that right back.
 
THE PARADOX:
When we meet and nourish our sense of The Divine Feminine inside, we irresistably become an attraction magnet.
 
Who wouldn’t want to snuggle up next to the radiant graciousness and erotic umph of The Divine Feminine?
 
NOTE: It is also crucial for men to Honor the Divine Feminine. When men can forgive The Masculine and The Feminine for colluding with the abuse in the world today they are able to honor their emotional life, their intuitive life, their creative life, their sexual life, and their soul life. Women also need to find and honor The Divine Masculine but that’s another Dish.
 
THE CHALLENGE:
NOW, the world is crying out for more of The Divine Feminine. Now, more than ever, we need women and men who can find the courage to face their inner healing and become the Noble Warriors with Heart: Kuan Yin, Mother Teresa, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Joan of Arc, Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Rosa Parks, Susan B. Anthony, Dorothy Day . . . This reclaiming of the fierce protectiveness, abundant nourishment, and compassionate wisdom is crucial for our world to survive.

Remember the Key:
Goddesses of Love, Beauty and Abundance, were also once Goddesses of War (i.e. boundaries and protectiveness.) Yes indeedy. Including Aphrodite, Venus, Ishtar, Inanna, Durga, Buffalo Woman and many more.
 
WHERE HAS THE DIVINE FEMININE GONE & HOW DO WE GET IT BACK?
The Divine Feminine has always been and will always be. She is within each of us.
 
Her mysteries are hidden in The Song of Solomon in the Old Testament.
Her radiance shines from the Holy Grail, San Greal, Holy Blood that is the womb of life. Her power emboldens us anytime we take a stand for truth and social justice in the face of no agreement. Her grace flows over us whenever we love and appreciate ourselves, compassionately, darkness and light.
 
She has been lost, and efforts have been made to suppress Her in:

• The domination and violence done to women and children anytime dominator, and heirerarchical life-negating, cultures took control.
• The raping of the Goddesses and the displacement of Her values in Greco-Roman culture.
• The witch hunts and inquisition of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
• The suppression of the honor and importance accorded to the priestess Mary Magdalene in the life of Jesus.

ROLLING OUT DAVINCI DUMPLINGS:
Today, I saw “The Da Vinci Code.” It brought tears to my eyes. I was reminded that each of us can choose to need, nourish, mold and cook up a new paradigm. We each have the power to heal our world. So much goodness is rising once more. The steps are to accept our savory inner powerfulness, work it, heal what blocks it, re-educate ourselves, forgive ourselves, have compassion for those who have wounded us,  and stand up for our world.
